Dorothy E. Ogburn

Dorothy E. Ogburn of Townsend died Friday, Aug, 27, at the Brunswick hospital of Southeast Georgia Health System.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010 at First Credit Hill Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Churchill Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by her children, Gale Ogburn of Townsend, Delia Beckett of Fort Worth, Texas, Zenia Ogburn of Brunswick, Sandra Pickett of St. Marys and Eligah Ogburn of Marietta; and five grandchildren.

A native of Wilmington, N.C., she was a member of First Credit Hill Baptist Church and was retired.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
