Preliminary doctor’s autopsy report indicates Cory Sasser’s death was the consequence of self-inflicted gunshot wound

Preliminary autopsy results are in for Robert Cory Sasser, who was found dead in his car several hours after a low speed chase to his home and a standoff, after having been identified as being in the Tolomato area where John John Hall and Katie Sasser were found murdered on June 28.

GBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Richard Dial at the Kingsland GBI office told The Darien News Tuesday morning that according to the doctor’s preliminary report at the GBI Crime Lab, the death of Cory Sasser was consistent to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
