Chandler Louis Mosley, 43, loving husband, father, son and brother, of Darien, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Chandler was born on November 1, 1975, in Macon, Ga., to Alice Newton Walsh and Aubrey L. Mosley.
Chandler lived all over South Georgia and lived for the Georgia Bulldogs. He was an avid photographer of nature and all life. He loved music, art, and comedy. He was creative, funny and loved to talk anyone’s ear off. He never met a stranger. Chandler was Chandler, always. He loved to cook and to eat. He loved the food industry, and he spoke highly of two past jobs in particular as manager at Piggly Wiggly in Pooler, Ga., and Hungry Howie’s Pizza in Valdosta, Ga. He was kind, loving and generous. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. He loved and cherished his family most of all. He was baptized in the Episcopal Church in Valdosta at nine years old. He was a true believer in God and His works.
Chandler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Opal and David Newton, and his paternal grandparents, Alice and Louis Mosley. He was also preceded in death by his loving dog-best friend, Little Jimmy.
Chandler will be cherished and greatly missed by his love wife, Dana, of Darien, Ga.; his daughter, Sophia London Mosley of Tallahassee, Fla.; his beloved sister, Amanda S. Mosley of Brown Summit, N.C.; his parents Alice Walsh (Phil), of Brown Summit, N.C. and Aubrey Mosley of Harris Neck, Ga.; a beloved best friend, Neil C. Peters, of St. Louis, Mo.; and many other family members and close friends.
