Robert E. Sams died Thursday, July 7, at Senior Care.

A graveside service, with military honors, was held Saturday, July 9, in Hudson Cemetary.

He is survived by his children, Leon Skipper, Anthony Skipper, Brenda Jones and Joyce Lotson; sibling, Margaret Baker; and other relatives.

Darien Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
