Willene “Billie” Smith, 68, of Townsend, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in Brunswick.

Born in Jesup, she lived most of her life in McIntosh County.  Billie worked for 14 years at Ace Hardware in Eulonia, several years as a computer clerk for Cornerstone, and was a homemaker.  She attended Youngs Island Community Church.

Survivors are her daughters and son-in-law, Toni Patton of Valdosta and Michele Smith-Armstrong and William of Townsend; son and daughter-in-law, Michael McClenithan and Jessica of Townsend; brother and sister-in-law, William Willoughby and Samantha of Townsend; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life services will be Saturday, February 25, at 1 p.m. at Youngs Island Community Church.
