County residents are reminded that tree debris can be burned on the property, or taken the McIntosh County Construction and Demolition Landfill, where there will be a charge per ton.
In the City of Darien, residents are asked to place the debris on the roadside and is will be picked up, as usual, at no fee charge. City Manager Richy Braun explained the service is part of the taxes city residents pay. He said, the City is working to pick up the debris as soon as possible.
