Odessa Prescott Bryan of The Ridge died Aug. 29, 2023, at her residence.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at First Credit Hill Baptist Church, with burial following in Churchill Cemetery.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8 at Darien Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Bryan; children, Aletha Workman, Gracie Butler, Anita Moore and Veronica Williams; and other relatives.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
