Sanareena Kelly, formerly of Darien, died Aug. 27, 2023, at her daughter’s residence in Beaufort, S.C.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Banner of Truth Ministries on Garrison Street in Darien.

Interment, with military honors, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 2:30 p.m. at Refuge New Calvary Cemetery, 468 Macon Road, in Vance, S.C.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 8, at Darien Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

She is survived by her daughter, Cyre’ West; siblings, Curtis Bryant and Katen Bryant; two grandchildren; and other relatives.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
