Ruth M. Walker, of Meridian, died Oct. 7, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Elm Grove Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Hutcherson-Lotson Cemetery.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, at Darien Funeral Home.

She is survived by her children, Ze A. Tyson, Bobbie M. Norris and Alfred Walker Jr.; six grandchildren; and other relatives.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
