Deacon Benjamin Hall of Sapelo Island died June 21, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at Darien Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, at St. Luke Baptist Church on Sapelo Island, with interment to follow in Behavior Cemetery.

The ferry will depart at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, from the Meridian Dock. Fare is $5.

Darien Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
