Mark Charles Goodrich
Mark Charles Goodrich, 70, passed away on June 25, 2026.
A devoted Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather, and faithful friend, Mark lived a life that reflected God’s grace, kindness, and unwavering love. Above all else, he loved Jesus.
Nothing brought Mark greater happiness than his family. His wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and especially his grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life, and he loved them with his whole heart. He celebrated their accomplishments, encouraged them through life’s challenges, and never missed an opportunity to remind them how deeply they were loved. The lessons he taught through both his words and by example will remain with them forever.
Known for his warm smile, gentle spirit, and generous heart, Mark touched countless lives. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or praying for someone in need, he made everyone feel valued and cared for. His life was a testimony to the love of Christ.
Mark was a native of Southington, Connecticut. His family moved to Jones, Georgia, in July 1960. In 1977, Mark moved to Midway, Georgia, where he became the owner of Midway Napa Auto Parts, serving his community for almost 50 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Annette; his daughters, Jessica Goodrich Barry and Amy Goodrich Haley, both of Richmond Hill; four grandchildren; sister, Sybil Wooten of Savannah; brother, Thomas Goodrich of Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was a faithful member of South Newport Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and helped lead the youth group.
