Ronnie Kirkland, 73, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Georgia.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda Bennett Kirkland of Cox, Georgia; his son, Ronnie Lee Kirkland, Jr. of Cox, Georgia; his daughter, Tina Kirkland Singleton of Brunswick, Georgia; and his three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; his brother, Jerry Kirkland of Jesup, Georgia, and his sister, Dot Fite of Asheville, North Carolina.

Ronnie was a faithful member of Darien Church of God and an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Golden Isles Bass Masters Club and Altamaha Bass Masters, where he enjoyed competing in bass fishing tournaments. He also loved hunting and spending time outdoors. Ronnie’s passion for fishing and hunting brought him countless friendships, unforgettable memories, and a lifetime of enjoyment.

Ronnie retired from Hercules/Pinova, after 52 years of dedicated service. He was a hardworking and loyal employee who took great pride in his work.

Ronnie never met a stranger. He loved to talk, had a heart of gold, and loved his family deeply. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, warm smile, generous heart, unwavering love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Darien Church of God in Darien, GA followed by interment at McIntosh Family Cemetery in Townsend, GA.
